If a referee asks you to surrender your marker for a spot check please do so without arguing, or you will be escorted off of the property. 16. What is a Hit?: Any hit from a direct paintball resulting in a spot of paint the size of a quarter or larger is considered a hit. Anything that you are wearing of carrying that is hit with paint is considered a hit. Body, back packs, vests, markers, air tanks, hopper and anything else you brought onto the field. 19. LAW/RPG’s and Rocket launchers: Any device that fires a Nerf Rocket projectile must be approved by the event producer and chrono’d with the head referee. They will be limited in this game. To use these you must have a demo card from your general. Only special props will be used to eliminate buildings. If you manage to shoot a round through a window or doorway everyone inside that room will be eliminated.

20. Tanks: Tanks are welcome and appreciated. There will be paintball tanks at this event. They can be taken out only by an unaltered Nerf round by event approved LAW rocket launchers, and stalled by event only paint grenades. There will be escorts with the tanks (they are neutral players, please don’t shoot at them for fun) When shot with a Nerf Rocket, or other event device, your tank and all players inside are dead. You must stop shooting, raise a white flag, and return to your tank insertion point. Tanks- like players- can automatically reinsert. If your tank is hit with an event grenade, your tank is disabled. You must stop moving for 5 minutes. You may still fire your weapons. Tanks may not approach within 150 feet of the opposing base. All tanks must be inspected by the event producer or the head referee before entering the field. Only licensed drivers may operate paintball tanks at this venue. Tanks must not exceed 5 mph on the field of play. Please e-mail events@southernxtremepaintball.com to register your tank.

21. Doors and Windows: Do not hold or block doors or windows. There may be sealed rooms for specific missions, but these will be clearly marked and monitored by referees. The 1st floor windows may be used for building entry. No second floor windows or higher.

22. Clothing: No Orange or Yellow Pants, Shirts, Jerseys or Goggles. Refs ONLY...

23. Referees: Have the right and are authorized to contain or restrict any player who they feel is posing a risk of injury to themselves or others, or who may be entering a situation which may pose a risk of injury. Referees are not babysitters. It is not the referee’s job to make sure that you do not wipe, or that you do not cheat. However if the referee sees this happen you will get a chance to be escorted off of the premises. Do not argue or curse at any referee or staff member there will not be a warning if you disagree with a referee's call politely tell the referee that you disagree and ask that the head referee be called over for verification of the call. Explain your side politely, we are all here for fun.

24. Cheating: If you’re caught cheating, (Wiping Paint! You’re gone! No Tolerance…Period) Playing with a visible hit, sharing information after being eliminated (remember dead men don’t talk), playing out of bounds, or any other rule infraction is a “REF” punch of your players card. Three infractions and you’re out.

25. Entering the field: All players entering the field must have armband tape above the elbow and clearly visible. They must also have a players card with chrono punch(s). Do not lose your players card as they will cost you another entry fee to replace. No exceptions! YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO ENTER THE FIELD THRU YOUR TEAMS INSERTION POINT.

26. Insertions: This event is a hot or immediate reinsertion. No holds, unless otherwise instructed by a referee. You may only insert from your sides insertion point. When entering the field you must leave your barrel blocking device on your marker until you have reached your base. Then remove your barrel blocking device and enter play. Players are not allowed to stage at insertion points shooting players that are reinserting. If a base has been blown, the ref will designate a temporary check-in point.

27. Player Briefings: They are mandatory, players must attend the player briefings, Saturday 10:00 am game on at 11am, Sunday no player briefing.

28. Weather: During game play bad weather, if there is a tornado warning, lightning or high wind that is blown the net and tents away - SXP will call for a stand down. For such severe weather we ask that players go to the nearest building for safety to wait out the weather, campsites, tents, campers are not the safest place in such extreme weather. The canceling of game play shall work as followed. If a stand down is called it will be for one hour, the producer, head referee and both generals will check weather forecast and determine if a longer period of time for a stand down is needed or if the game play for that day must be canceled. If you wish to voice your thoughts please advise your generals. For weather such as a steady rain and generals are losing players because they do not want to get their markers wet or they just do not feel like playing in the rain, then the two generals can communicate and decide if they want to call a stand down, so players let your generals know your thoughts to help them with their decision. Upon a cancelation of the rest of the day's game play, SXP will put together some kind of a discount on the next event.

Thank You.
